A new editor for the Journal of Radical Librarianship

The editorship of the Journal of Radical Librarianship is changing hands. Stuart Lawson has stepped down as General Editor, and Steve Bales (Texas A&M University Libraries) is now filling that role. The journal's editorial model is more distributed that many journals; we have a 'General Editor' who is the first point of contact for the journal and assigns submissions in the peer-reviewed section of the journal to other Section Editors who have expertise in particular areas of librarianship. When we first developed the journal in 2014, it was never the intention for anyone to hold a central role for so long. Steve has been a Section Editor for a number of years, so is well placed to continue the work and keep the journal moving forward.
